We are group 2 and discussed about Children's Literature.
I was the first speaker and explained about the definition of Children's Literature itself.
Then, the other friend also explained their part (each of member have their own part to be explained)
After all of the discussion have been explained, each of the other group members are asked to pose a question.
There were 4 question and the member of our group are 7, so, not all of us had chance to answer them.
But, I was able to answer question which was posed by yanti.
The question was "What do you think about children's literature nowadays?"
According to me, children's literature is almost forgotten today
It is because the development of technology and entertainment.
Most of children now like to play games.
As the time passed, their interest in reading are decreased
They prefer to play game in their PC than read.
But, there are still few children who like reading.
For them, children's literature is still interested.
For instance, some children like to read comic, short story, novel, etc.
Although, the literature has been transformed to be modern one.
Traditional children's literature is such kind of traditional fable, folk, fairy tales, etc
But today, stories which are combined with picture are more interested.
Comic is the example, it get more attention than just text story.
Hopefully, children's literature can be improved
So that, it will not be forgotten at all..
